The peninsula hosts two of the finest and safest beaches in Fingal. - Donabate Strand to the south and Portrane Beach to the north. There are also two more secluded beaches at Tower Bay and Balcarrick as well as numerous rock pools. Swimming is only recommended on beaches where a lifeguard is present.
